Group Exercise Classes
We offer a variety of Group Exercise classes tailored to older adults looking to stay fit in a group setting.
Aquafit (Sculpt/Cardio)
Aquafit is an ideal alternative to weight bearing exercises. It improves your aerobic fitness, increases your strength and it’s a great way to cross train! The Aquafit Sculpt class has a greater emphasis on muscle conditioning; Aquafit Cardio has a greater emphasis on cardiovascular work.
R.O.M. Aquafit
This class is great for participants with conditions/ailments such as arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, etc.
Classic Stretch
Classic Stretch is designed to improve flexibility, posture and reduce stress. Slow extended stretches and proper body alignment are the emphasis of the class.
Fundamental Fitness
Fundamental Fitness is 1/3 low-impact and easy-to-follow cardio, 1/3 muscle conditioning and 1/3 stretch. It is great for seniors, those new to fitness, or anyone looking for a low-intensity workout.
Restorative Yoga
Give yourself a chance to relax and unwind. This gentle yoga class is suitable for all levels. Poses are often held longer, with the use of props. Deeply relaxing, you will leave feeling released of tension and calm in mind.
Cardio Strength Circuit
Why not try cardio and strength training in a fun circuit? Cardio and Strength offers a variety of exercises that will keep your heart rate in an optimal range for burning calories, while gaining strength with little or no impact on the joints.
Resist-A-Band
Try our Resist-A-Band Class to help increase core strength and improve flexibility. It offers an alternative to traditional weight training. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can increase your strength with a weekly band workout!
