Sharoni Sibony, Manager of the Jewish Life Department

Sharoni coordinates the Downtown Jewish Community Council and administers the MNjcc Hebrew Institute, Jewish Studies classes, lectures and special events. She loves cabaret festivals and pottery.

Yael Polunsky, Israel Outreach and Programming Schlicha (Emissary)

Yael is excited to be in Toronto for her sixth schlichut (placement) after India, Belarus, Ukraine and the United States. As a representative from Israel through the Jewish Agency, Yael brings contemporary Israeli culture to life at the MNjcc.

Yudit Timbo, Jewish Family Engagement Coordinator

Yudit Timbo does double-duty as the Jewish Family Engagement Coordinator and the Children’s Programming Assistant. She has previously volunteered at the MNjcc in the babysitting room and at holiday events, the Annex Festival on Bloor, and the Members’ BBQ. Yudit is excited to enrich Jewish life by advocating Jewish values that are relevant for an inclusive downtown community.
