Aquatics Policies
In order to better serve our users, the Aquatics department at Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre will be implementing the following positive changes effective January 1, 2010, in order that we can ve our users with better service.
- Private/Semi-private/Group private and Group sessions: our staff will not call you to cancel a swim class. Your scheduled session with us will be honoured by another one of our high calibre instructors from our aquatics team, in the event that your scheduled instructor is absent. This results in 'zero interruption of service' to you and your family.
- Private/Semi-private/Group private/Group sessions now operate in 'blocks', much like a semestered school system. This allows you to schedule your child's lessons in a familiar manner.
- Payment policy: All aquatics programs must be paid in full at the time of registration. Registrants are able to pay for their programs using cash, Visa, Master Card or cheque. At this time, we are unable to accept American Express or post-dated cheques for payment of aquatic programs.
- Cancellation policy: at Miles Nadal Aquatics, we understand that your participation schedule might change. Our response is to offer the participant 1 'make up' session in any aquatics program. More than 1 absence in any aquatics program will be applied to your account.
- Credits based on 'previously paid for' aquatic sessions: Some of our participants have aquatics sessions 'credited' to them. We will happily honour these credits with supporting documentation from the payee, until December 31st, 2009. Please contact us to schedule aquatic lesson credits that you may have.
- Registration of aquatic programs: Beginning January 1, 2010, all Private/Semi-private/Group private sessions will fall within the same 2 week registration period as Group lessons registration, plus one week. By doing this, we can provide all aquatics users with better customer service as well as advanced scheduling for you and your registrant. Dates for registration for all aquatic programs for January 1, 2010 onwards, will be posted on our web-site, in our aquatics brochures and throughout the building.
