COMING THIS FEBRUARY - Intergenerational Program
An opportunity to get acquainted with a student from The Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School and toreminisce, share your wisdom, life experience and lessons, memories of holiday traditions and more at afternoon get-togethers . A great platform to help youth appreciate seniors, break down stereotypes and to also do a mitzvah with students through a simple Pesach joint community service activity.
Participate in enjoyable and stimulating activities:
- Intergenerational get acquainted kosher lunch
- A joint complementary museum visit to Royal Ontario Museum or Art Gallery of Ontario (transportation provided)
- Purim musical celebration /lunch
- A Passover tzedakah/community service activity to benefit those less fortunate individuals and families in the community and more!
Computers Course for Seniors: Absolute Beginners
Eight Sessions, Ongoing, every eight weeks. Tuesday afternoons, 1PM to 3PM
Learn how to:
- use a computer
- how to send and receive email
- how to browse the internet/the World Wide Web
This course is designed specifically for seniors without computer experience. It is an introduction to the very basics of using a computer. The focus is to help you have a pleasant, fun and productive computer and internet experience. We are fortunate to have an outstanding instructor, specialized and experienced in teaching seniors. No experience with computers is necessary. You do not need a computer to complete the course
